Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from a regular face scrub?

Regular scrubs use synthetic microbeads or crushed walnut shells that create micro-tears in skin. Our Cellulose Gommage Technology uses plant-derived fibres that activate only on dead skin cells — removing them gently without damaging healthy skin underneath.

How often should I use this serum?

2–3 times per week is ideal for most skin types. If you have sensitive or post-shave irritated skin, start with once a week and increase gradually.

Do I use it before or after my moisturiser?

Apply the serum on clean, damp skin — massage, rinse off, then follow with your moisturiser. The Ceramide PEF and Squalane in the formula mean you need very little moisturiser after.

Is it suitable for oily and acne-prone skin?

Yes — it's specifically designed for it. Niacinamide controls sebum production, Cellulose unclogs pores, and the pH-balanced formula (Lactic Acid + Sodium Citrate) keeps breakout-triggering bacteria in check.

Will it irritate skin after shaving?

Avoid using immediately after shaving. Wait at least 12 hours after a fresh shave. The formula contains Hydroxyacetophenone and Ethylhexylglycerin as gentle preservatives — no parabens, no alcohol-heavy irritants.

Is this a wash-off or leave-on serum?

Wash-off. Apply, massage for 60–90 seconds, then rinse. The Gommage action only works with gentle friction — this is not a leave-on treatment.
